Transaction Reporting Analyst – Investment Operations

Transaction Reporting Analyst required for the expanding Secured Financing Transaction Regulation Reporting team of our Glasgow based Banking client.

The team are engaged in the development of platforms and processes supporting upcoming regulatory change in a rapidly evolving environment. Supporting a broad stakeholder base, you will liaise with various internal and external counterparties daily, including other Operations teams, Sales and Trading, Risk leads, Legal and Compliance teams.

This role is all about…

  • Investigating/resolving exceptions and assisting with risk metrics ensuring transactions are reported in line with the SFTR regulation. Escalating as appropriate
  • Assist in the build of processes and controls to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the firms reporting
  • Liaising with technology, the business unit and various teams across operations to resolve reporting issues
  • Where required conduct UAT testing and providing feedback effectiveness and defects identified
  • Writing and maintaining operating procedures

Coming from a background in Operations, Incident Reporting or Risk within Financial Services, you will be able to demonstrate the following critical competencies:
