A rare and rewarding opportunity for Senior Tax Adviser to join this long-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers in Glasgow. The growing tax function is a close-knit group of friendly, motivated tax professionals who are keen to welcome a similarly minded individual into the team. This role would suit someone who likes to get involved and enjoys being part of a client-focused team.

With a variety of interesting tax work on offer across both corporate and personal tax, this role is open to an individual from a mixed-tax background, or with strong corporate tax experience and a willingness to diversify their technical skillset. A minimum of 3 years’ tax compliance experience is essential and there will be an opportunity to review work of junior team members and gain exposure to  advisory work as you progress in this role.

The firm’s client portfolio is diverse and includes profitable commercial businesses, partnerships, HNWI’s, business owners, sole traders and trusts. The firm regularly takes on new clients, often through referrals, whilst maintaining strong relationships with their existing portfolio. You will have direct and regular client contact so excellent communication and relationship management skills are a must. Additionally, an interest in honing and building your business development skills can be supported, should this be an area of interest.
