Career development opportunity for a Tax Assistant to join a busy team in this long-established Glasgow-based CA practice. This role would suit an ambitious individual with at least 2 years’ experience in tax or general practice, and keen to broaden and develop their professional skillset.

In this close-knit tax team collaboration is key, and everyone plays an integral role in meeting the needs of their impressive portfolio of clients. As a result, you will benefit from working closely with the Tax Partner and senior management every day, gaining exposure to a broad range of tax work that you may not experience within a larger team.

This role will initially be focused on tax compliance (both corporate and personal tax) with the opportunity to support with interesting advisory work as your career develops. Experience of preparing tax computations and returns to meet deadlines is essential. You will have regular contact with clients and HMRC, as such you must demonstrate excellent communication skills and know how to handle relevant tax queries.

ATT/CTA study support will be provided to aid you in your development, and the team are looking for someone who is very keen to work towards qualification. Consideration will be given to those with experience in mixed-tax, corporate tax or personal tax; or an individual with a general accounts/tax remit looking to specialise. Each team member is fully office-based to ensure collaboration, communication and support is maintained as a key priority.
