Private Client Solicitor/Associate / Tax Advisory Professional – 3+ PQE

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time

A prestigious and well-established legal and tax advisory firm is seeking a talented and experienced Solicitor (3+ PQE) or Tax Advisory Professional to join their highly regarded Tax & Succession team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, landed estates, rural businesses, and family offices with complex ownership and asset structures.

The Opportunity

You will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team advising on:

• Succession and estate planning
• Trusts and asset protection
• Estate administration
• Drafting of legal documents and tax-efficient structuring

You’ll work closely with specialists across property, business, family, employment, and charity law to deliver holistic, integrated advice.

Who Should Apply

We welcome applications from:

• Scottish-qualified solicitors with 3+ years PQE
• England & Wales-qualified solicitors with relevant experience
• Tax professionals with equivalent experience in private client advisory work

• Strong technical and practical experience in private client work
• A genuine interest in people and their affairs, with discretion and empathy
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• A team player with a desire to grow and develop in a supportive environment

STEP membership is preferred, but support will be provided to complete the diploma if required.
