This role is all about…
- Providing tax advice on a range of transactions including: M&A, restructuring and treasury
- Providing transfer pricing advice to colleagues across the Group
- Participating in control and governance forums
- Collecting and managing the information required to support the new UK local file transfer pricing documentation requirements
- Working with overseas advisors and tax teams supporting local corporate tax compliance and projects
- Facilitating the efficient interaction with key external parties including audit teams, HMRC and external advisers
- Supporting Group Tax risk reporting and control activities
- Managing day-to-day activities within risk appetite
About you…
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced corporate tax professional with relevant experience in general corporate tax; preferably corporate tax advisory and/or transfer pricing. Your ability to exercise decisiveness and sound judgement on a consistent basis will also be key.
In addition, you will have…
- A qualification in tax or accounting (CA, ACA, ACCA, CTA)
- Sound business, commercial and reputational risk awareness
- Good problem-solving skills
- Project management and communication skills
