An excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of and help grow the OMB Tax Advisory offering of a highly regarded and ambitious Scottish accountancy and advisory firm.

This is a senior, commercially focused appointment offering considerable autonomy. You will advise owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and shareholders on a broad range of tax matters, while developing advisory opportunities across the firm’s substantial existing client base and winning new work.

The advisory remit will include areas such as business structuring, shareholder planning, profit extraction, restructuring, succession and exit planning.

Importantly, the firm is open-minded regarding your tax specialism. You could come from a Corporate Tax, Private Client or mixed tax background. What matters is that you have strong advisory experience, understand the OMB market and can build trusted relationships with business owners.

You are likely to be an existing Director or ambitious Senior Manager who combines technical credibility with commercial instinct. You should be comfortable identifying opportunities, developing client relationships and generating revenue, while collaborating with specialists across the wider firm.

This is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone looking for greater ownership and influence. There is an established client base and infrastructure already in place; the opportunity is to use that platform to build and develop a significant OMB advisory practice.
