An excellent opportunity to join the expanding SWAP Allocations team within the expanding Prime Brokerage Operations function of our Glasgow Financial Services client.  

The Swap Allocations team provides swap allocation trade exception resolution coverage for Global Prime Brokerage clients. The team support a number of key processes including break investigation, fails investigation and various other trade related activities. The team are also responsible for making client process improvements which ultimately supports both the business and the client.

As a Manager in the team, you will own the daily resolution of Swap Allocation trade breaks and metrics production for your team. You will be responsible for providing first class service and will need to work closely with Global Stakeholders including Trade Support (London), Cash Settlements and the Global Business Units.

This role is all about…

  • Process management of various swap trade related functions such as trade amendments, queries, confirmations and reporting within specified timescales
  • Managing a team of three
  • Liaising and communicating with Global stakeholders and various operational groups
  • Identification and timely escalation of risk items to management
  • Planning and organizing of project, initiatives and team testing
  • Providing reporting and information to management and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring procedures are implemented, are accurate, relevant and complied with across the team
  • Proactively contribute towards the drive to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis

About you…

  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional client service
  • Candidate should have a strong background in Financial Services within Operations, preferably SWAP allocations
  • Developed people and stakeholder management experience
  • The Ability to manage and prioritize workload and work to deadlines
  • A Proactive & flexible team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to understand, interpret and map complicated process flows
  • The utilization of analytical and investigative skills to a successful conclusion
