Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Perth, Scotland
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

The Role

An established construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects within the Perth area. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage sites safely, efficiently, and to programme.

The Site Manager will take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from start to completion
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Plan and monitor programmes, resources, and materials
• Ensure works are completed to specification and quality standards
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular inspections
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and designers to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Drive a positive site culture and lead by example

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or civil engineering
• SMSTS certification (essential)
• CSCS Black or Gold card
• Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and best practice
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
• Competent with site documentation and reporting
• Full UK driving licence
