Tax Adviser or Senior Tax Adviser required for the multi-award-winning specialist Tax Team of this mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors. Based in Edinburgh, but with arrangements in place for both hybrid and remote working, this is a fast-paced, exciting role with the opportunity to work with fantastic entrepreneurial clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with a portfolio of high-growth companies, providing a range of tax technical compliance, primarily share schemes and SEIS and EIS.
- Preparing share valuation reports
- Preparation of R&D tax relief, corporate tax accounting, computations and returns
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Active involvement in supporting tax advisory projects.
An analytical mindset and ability to use initiative are key to this role. Ideally, you will have a background in corporate tax, private client tax or tax accounting with a strong desire to develop and broaden your technical knowledge across a range of entrepreneurial tax matters. You will be someone who takes pride in their work and who is motivated to achieve technical excellence for their clients.
