Senior Reporting Accountant

Lusona are delighted to be partnering with a global service sector organisation, to source suitable applicants for the role of ‘Senior Reporting Accountant’. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a collaborative and global environment.

You’ll play a key role in shaping accounting processes, mentoring junior team members, and delivering high-quality financial reporting. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the UK and Europe. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality accounting support to a variety of global stakeholders.
• Supporting junior team members through mentoring and development
• Producing tailored monthly and quarterly management reports, along with annual and interim financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102
• Reviewing and preparing financial statements
• Assisting with financial analysis and complex reporting tasks.
• Continuously enhancing efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborating with stakeholders on a globally.

Applicants will have a strong technical accounting background, derived from a similar role within industry, or that of accountancy practice involving management accounts preparation and financial statements preparation. This opportunity is ideal for someone within a current mentoring role, or someone who would like to take this next step in their career. You will have a solid understanding of IFRS and FRS 102. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential, as well as a collaborative and detail-orientated approach.
