A new opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the legal team within this investment management firm based in Edinburgh. Applicants must have at least 6 years of PQE gained in dealing with commercial contracts, particularly technology contracts within a regulated environment. 

The successful applicant will be a confident and articulate communicator capable of handling complex and time critical matters in a positive manner. You will be keen to embrace new areas of expertise and technologies and develop business understanding which will enable you to make appropriate risk-based decisions.

As well as providing thoughtful, commercial, and pragmatic legal advice, you will enjoy working as part of a close-knit and collegiate team and be keen to be involved in training and knowledge sharing.

You will also be able to demonstrate an interest in learning about the investment management business, advising on client-related agreements, widening your experience into new areas of legal practice and making new connections and joining internal groups to provide legal input on business-related matters.
