Senior Finance Business Partner – Manufacturing Sector

Lusona is supporting one of our Global manufacturing clients in Renfrewshire to source suitable applicants for the post of Senior Finance Business Partner.
The successful candidate will lead the Financial Performance Management process within operations, ensuring appropriate business analysis is provided to identify opportunities, risks and trends, along with analysis to ensure decisions are supported by comprehensive financial analysis.
The main duties will include:
- Working with the Operations Leadership team to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all operational spend, raising challenges and driving course correction, based on financial and commercial information. You will also assess the financial impact of business decisions
- Providing financial input for projects including Capital and Continuous Improvement projects and improvement in operational reporting, business analysis and system changes
- Delivering the month-end process ensuring that all internal reporting deadlines are met. This will include leading the monthly review meetings with Operations teams and providing appropriate analysis and reporting for the Senior Leadership/Board.
- Supporting the Finance Performance Management process across the Operations function ensuring the right information and insight is provided to guide the delivery of financial targets
- Leading the Budget and Forecasting process within operations, including the development of the five-year plan
- Providing sound financial guidance to budget holders to support the development of Operational Business Plans (5YP, Budget, quarterly forecasts) that underpin strategic goals
- Identifying the operational KPls which underpin the successful plan delivery and ensuring alignment with financial objectives
- Ensuring the financial performance management systems and processes support the maintenance of accurate and reliable information on which effective decisions can be made
- Providing sound financial guidance to budget holders to support the development of Operational Business Plans (5YP, Budget, quarterly forecasts) that underpin strategic goals.
- Identify the operational KPls which underpin the successful plan delivery and ensure the alignment with the financial objectives.
Applicants must be fully Qualified, ACCA, CIMA or ICAS, with experience in analysing complex financial information using financial modelling tools. Candidates must have excellent communication skills to build good relationships with key internal stakeholders.
