Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Glasgow office.
Role Overview
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be at the forefront of electrical design innovation, delivering projects from concept to completion across a variety of sectors, while ensuring that your designs meet the highest standards of compliance and quality.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, data systems, etc.
- Producing drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
- Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams as required to meet project demands.
- Supporting project delivery from feasibility to handover, including conducting site inspections.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the wider team development.
- Promoting sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.
Requirements
- A degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design within building services,
- Experience in team leadership/management and project leadership in a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency with industry standard software: AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, etc.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE/IET/BS standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
