Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Salary up to £65k (DOE)

Lusona Consultancy is supporting one of our service sector clients to source suitable applicants for the role of ‘Senior Commercial Finance Manager’. The role has a commercial, operational support focus that will require a hands-on accountant with excellent communication and organisational skills. As part of the wider commercial team, you will oversee and develop a small team, where your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing finance support and collaborating with the operational stakeholders.
• Providing analysis to aid commercial decision-making.
• Investment appraisal and post-project performance measurement.
• Recommending process improvements and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Creating accounting packs to present results to stakeholders.
• Leading and developing a small team of approximately 5 people. 
• Producing budgets and forecasts.

Applicants will ideally be fully qualified (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA) or suitably qualified by experience. It is important to have excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders regarding financial and non-financial information. Equally, applicants must have excellent Excel skills to carry out corresponding financial modelling and analysis. It is also beneficial for applicants to have previous experience in managing and developing a team.
