Senior Associate - Employment (Edinburgh/Glasgow)

Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (Senior Associate level) to join its growing team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role offers exposure to a broad and varied caseload, working alongside recognised market leaders on sophisticated advisory, transactional and contentious employment matters.
You will advise a diverse client base ranging from multinational corporations to leading domestic businesses across sectors including financial services, technology, transport, retail, media, and consumer goods. The role encompasses day-to-day HR advisory work, corporate and M&A support, workforce restructuring projects, workplace investigations, senior executive matters, outsourcing arrangements, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to broaden their practice beyond traditional employment advisory work, with regular involvement in cross-border matters and collaboration with colleagues across an international network.

About You
- Qualified solicitor with strong employment law experience, ideally gained within a recognised private practice team.
- Experience advising large organisations on a broad spectrum of employment law matters.
- Exposure to transactional support work and corporate-related employment matters would be advantageous.
- Strong technical, drafting and client relationship skills.
- Ambitious, commercially aware and keen to take an active role in the growth of a successful practice.
