An esteemed and top-tier law firm is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join its expanding Rural Property team in Aberdeen. The Role

You will become a key player in a high-performing team that services a broad client base including estates, rural businesses, community bodies, funders, developers, and public sector organisations across Scotland. You will advise on a wide range of matters such as:

• Sales and purchases of estates, farms, forestry and rural land

• Rural development (e.g., renewables, telecoms, quarrying)

• Natural Capital and biodiversity markets

• Agricultural tenancies and land reform

• Title queries, lettings, and access disputes

• Sporting interests including salmon fishing and grouse moors

• Voluntary registration and estate management projects

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE who is passionate about the rural sector and looking to grow their expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment. You should bring:

• A strong interest in rural property and land law

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and research skills

• A commercial mindset and client-focused approach

• Experience managing transactions and advising clients directly
