Experienced Accountant required to join a highly-respected and friendly firm of Chartered Accountants in Stirlingshire. The firm is proud to offer a supportive, friendly working environment with many long-standing members of the team from local areas and beyond.

The firm has enjoyed steady growth throughout the years resulting in the decision to add new members to the team. Managing a diverse client portfolio, you will be responsible for a range of outsourced/reporting accounting and advisory duties including:

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, providing meaningful and commercial commentary
• Acting as trusted advisor for client businesses
• VAT compliance
• Managing and reviewing the bookkeeping processes
• Updating of monthly forecasts and cashflows
• Maintaining agreed budgets and time scales
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience with demonstrable experience gained within accountancy practice. Excellent communication and client management skills are essential, as is the ability to meet varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have experience of cloud-based accountancy packages.
