A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and driven Senior Associate to join its growing Regulatory & Investigations team. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-profile matters involving financial crime, regulatory enforcement, and internal investigations across a range of sectors including financial services, energy, pharma, and media.
About the Team
The team is part of a large disputes division, with a strong presence across the UK and internationally. It is known for its deep expertise in contentious financial services, financial crime, and regulatory investigations. The team works closely with financial institutions and large corporates, offering strategic advice and representation in complex regulatory and enforcement matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support internal and external investigations.
- Advise clients on financial services regulation, financial crime compliance, and enforcement proceedings.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
- Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
- Maintain and grow client relationships.
Candidate Profile
- UK-qualified solicitor with strong academic credentials.
- Experience in regulatory investigations and financial crime matters.
- Familiarity with FCA, PRA, FRC, SFO processes and enforcement.
- Knowledge of AML, UK Bribery Act, and Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Commercially astute with a proactive approach to career development.
