Our client is a leading extruded product manufacturer, who as a result of a strong trading period need to appoint an ambitious Regional Sales Manager. Reporting to the Sales Director you shall be responsible for the management of the existing client base, but also for the development & attraction of new customers. You shall be expected to;

  • Meet or exceed sales & profitability goals.
  • Develop new sales opportunities, new customers and support existing customers.
  • New business is targeted to generate increased sales volume at established profit margins.
  • Presentation of company’s products is indicative of a thorough knowledge of products and industry application.
  • Penetration of the customer organization is focused to enhance sales opportunities at the highest level possible and build integral relationships.
  • Manage participation in trade shows & sales meetings as necessary.
  • Implement an organized and structured methodology for weekly work schedule to call on and address prospects, identified potential opportunities and installed base customers
  • Work in tandem with our technical team to present solutions and benefits for that specific prospect and their industry
  • Detailed and accurate forecasting of territory opportunities

It is expected that you shall have at least 4 years of capital equipment sales experience. Whilst based anywhere in the UK, it must be understood that given the role covers the European and Middle Eastern geographical region, you must be prepared to travel with the role, potentially up to 50% of the time (both Nationally and Internationally). It goes without saying that you shall have first class communication skills, both written and oral, but an eye for detail and a demonstrable record of success are essential qualities. Language skills would be an advantage.
