This international law firm is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join the central paralegal team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow (with hybrid working) to assist the associates and partners within the thriving Real Estate team. The role will focus on supporting their clients, both internally and externally, on a variety of real estate transactions which will also include working on transactions independently (with appropriate supervision) from inception to completion.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating documents such as offers, leases, variations, dispositions, licences to occupy and other ancillary lease documentation;
• Dealing with sales and purchases, including plot sales and deeds of servitude;
• Reviewing and reporting on titles and dealing with ad hoc title queries from solicitors and clients;
• Managing completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filing and client signing / reporting requirements;

Who should apply?

This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and ideally experienced Real Estate-focused Paralegal - other types of property experience would be considered such as residential/rural property or plot sales alongside: Full training will be provided on systems and processes, and they also have an ongoing training programme to help develop both legal knowledge and soft skills.
