A new opening for a Solicitor at Newly Qualified level or with up to c3 years of relevant experience in either property finance or commercial property. The role offers the chance to join an international law firm with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen and would consider candidates based in any location.

This thriving and growing team is looking for a Real Estate lawyer to assist with real estate finance transactions, primarily acting on behalf of lenders in Scottish and English transactions. English real estate experience is not a pre-requisite, but they would be looking for someone who is willing to learn and be involved in this area. The team also assists lenders with distressed real estate and the recovery of sums due in relation to real estate loans, which may involve enforcement and the sale of property.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Real estate finance experience, carrying out title diligence and completing or reviewing Certificates of Title/Reports on Title and drafting or reviewing security documents (including dealing with completions and registration requirements).
• Real estate transaction experience primarily dealing with sales (including missives, sale documentation, discharge documentation, searches and completions) and leases (primarily lease reviews, but also agreements to lease, leases, variations and renunciations).
