Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a supportive team to help you grow and develop?

Our client are a growing building contractor with a £30million order book. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within a reputable contracting firm, providing excellent career development and stability. The client are open to surveyors joining from diverse backgrounds including housebuilding, sub contracting or Water. 

This is a contractor who have employee engagement and welfare at the centre of their business.

You will : 

• Prepare and analyse costings, budgets, and estimates for construction projects
• Manage contractual and financial aspects of projects from inception to completion
• Negotiate and agree on project costs and variations with clients and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within a contractor environment
• Understanding of construction contracts and relevant industry standards
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
