A leading manufacturing site in Ayrshire is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support a significant period of operational and regulatory activity. Your New Role
As Quality Manager, you will work closely with the site management team to deliver the ELC CAPA Plan and close off the current Audit, ensuring all corrective and preventive actions are fully embedded and executed within agreed timescales.
Your responsibilities will include:
CAPA Leadership & Management
- Coordinating and managing CAPA activities in line with agreed deadlines, escalating delays where required.
- Providing technical support, coaching, training, and knowledge sharing to ensure CAPA actions are robust, sustainable, and effectively implemented.
- Identifying nonconformances and collaborating with site teams to develop and deliver action plans.
- Maintaining the CAPA plan and providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Quality Support for New Business Introduction
You will play a key role in supporting quality activities linked to new business and product introduction programmes (e.g., SWLF):
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to determine best‑in‑class quality systems and site hygiene practices, demonstrating leadership and driving a strong quality culture.
- Supporting customer quality audits and product transfer qualification activities.
- Working with global hygiene teams to benchmark best practice and develop action plans for higher‑risk or microbiologically sensitive product categories.
- Understanding new customer quality requirements and ensuring appropriate implementation within site operations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Strong background in Quality Management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience leading CAPA processes and driving continuous improvement.
- Ability to engage, influence, and coach cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent understanding of quality systems, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
