Solicitor - Professional Liability & Insurance Litigation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (NQ-2) to join a highly regarded litigation team within a progressive Scottish law firm. This role offers excellent exposure to complex insurance and professional liability matters, making it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to build a successful career within a specialist disputes practice.
The Opportunity
Working alongside a highly regarded Partner and two other Solicitors, you will advise insurer and corporate clients across a varied caseload involving:
- Professional negligence claims
- Property damage disputes
- Product liability matters
- Construction-related disputes and contracts
- Insurance coverage issues
This position provides the opportunity to develop technical expertise while working on high-quality and often complex litigation matters within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- A newly qualified solicitor or with up to c2 years of PQE
- Commercially minded and keen to develop a career in litigation
- An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Committed to delivering high standards of client service
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment
- Motivated to continue their professional development and expand their technical knowledge
