Our client is a UK market leading manufacturer, who as a result of some very positive growth, need to appoint an ambitious design & development professional.

Working within the business's R&D function you shall play a pivotal role in the development of the firm's future products and services. This is a ‘whole process role’, where you shall be responsible for the initial research and feasibility study, moving to initial concept design, through prototype testing, before moving into the manufacturing process proper. Along the way you shall refine design elements, spec and test new products, and liaise with a range of customers – both internal and external. You will design hydrogen gas/ dual fuel control systems.

It is expected that you will hold a degree in engineering (electrical or electronic preferred), have work experience in an innovative engineering environment, where you have gained a strong design and project management skills. You shall have a demonstrable background in designing /developing gas systems. It is also expected that you shall possess a working knowledge of CAD systems, CFD and IOT. You shall also be able to demonstrate first class communication skills, have an innovative and enquiring attitude and be a first class problem solver.
