An exciting opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded Scottish law firm for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its established and growing team based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top-tier private client practice, advising a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals and families on complex and high-value matters.

The Role

You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload, including:

• Wills, trusts, and estate planning
• Executry administration, including complex and taxable estates
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning
• Powers of Attorney and incapacity matters
• Advising clients on long-term wealth and succession planning

You’ll play a key role in delivering tailored, proactive advice while working collaboratively within a well-resourced team.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ PQE in private client work
• Strong technical expertise across wills, trusts, and executries
• Experience advising on tax planning matters (IHT/CGT)
• Excellent drafting and client management skills
• A commercially minded, collaborative approach
• STEP qualification (or working towards) is advantageous
