Lusona Financial Services are recruiting for a private client associate to join a leading investment management company in Edinburgh. You will be part of the client support team working directly with a private client manager providing full administration support. This role will be home-based with flexible working once restrictions are lifted. The office is centrally located within walking distance to all main transport links.

This role has a variety of responsibilities including:
- Setting up client meetings and when required taking notes and following up on any action points that were discussed, including preparing a statement of suitability
- Liaising with clients via email, phone and posting reports to them - maintaining accuracy at all times
- Support the PCT Directors with initial suitability reports (transfer analysis) across GIAs’ and ISA’s for new and existing clients
- Updating client files and fact finds after meetings
- Will be trained to take dealing instructions from clients and directors
- Work with the team to look for ways to improve on processes and maximise procedures
- Input data onto the back office system and monitor prospects and open accounts
- Deal with CGT queries
Suitable applicants will have a good understanding of the FCA suitability process, and ideally have a knowledge of Xplan system. You will have worked within financial services for at least 2 years and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel.
It would be advantageous if you have an industry-relevant examination such as CISI IAD / CISI IOC Qualification or working towards this is.
A basic salary of up to £29K is on offer for this role along with a generous benefits package.
