We’re working with a highly regarded, top-tier UK accountancy firm that continues to invest heavily in its Private Client offering. With strong leadership, a genuinely people-first culture, and clear growth plans, they’re now looking to appoint a Personal Tax Manager to strengthen their dedicated tax team.

This is a role where you’ll go beyond the numbers—working closely with owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering a blend of compliance and increasingly advisory-led work.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a diverse portfolio of private clients including OMBs, partnerships and HNWIs
• Reviewing and overseeing personal tax compliance work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and HMRC
• Supporting and delivering advisory work across areas such as income tax, CGT and planning opportunities
• Identifying opportunities to add value and contribute to business development
• Mentoring and developing junior team members

What we’re looking for

• ATT / CTA / CA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong grounding in Personal / Private Client Tax within a professional services firm
• Experience across compliance, with exposure (or appetite) for advisory work
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to build client relationships
• Ability to manage workload and support junior staff effectively
