A well-established CA firm in Glasgow is seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring clients receive exceptional service and act as a true subject matter expert on their behalf.
What you'll do:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of returns.
- Provide technical review, support and guidance to junior members of the team.
- Assist with research for tax enquiries and ad-hoc planning assignments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and HMRC regulations.
What you'll bring:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within an accounting or legal firm
- A strong understanding of UK personal tax
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work
- ATT qualification (or working towards CTA qualification) - desirable
