This global law firm has an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Associate to join the Pensions team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Applicants will ideally have 0-7 years of relevant PQE.

The ideal candidate will have gained some experience in a pensions team within a large commercial law firm, however the team are also keen to hear from anyone with a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in this area.

The pensions team in Scotland consists of three partners, a legal director and three other lawyers. Their strength in the pensions field is reflected in an extensive list of clients, which includes trustees, employers and funds.

They are unique in providing a pensions practice which is arranged into a series of client service lines, to help bring a clearer focus to their work, and allow members of the team to develop their skills and increase their experience in particular areas.

The role is wide-ranging. In addition to providing advice on technical pensions law issues across the different work types that the team covers, the successful candidate can expect to be involved in the team’s client and market-facing activities. This will include client meetings, training sessions and networking and working routinely with colleagues in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and across the wider national pensions team.
