Lusona has several Payroll opportunities and we are keen to hear from candidates that are actively looking to move forward and take the next step in their careers. We are currently recruiting for our client based in Stirling for a Payroll professional to join their team. This is a standalone role processing payroll for up to 400 monthly staff, reporting directly to the Finance Manager but working closely with HR.
Duties will include:
• Calculation and processing of monthly payroll, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Statutory submissions for payroll, accurately prepared and submitted to HMRC in a timely manner (including P11Ds)
• Point of contact for pension-related queries
• Supporting the process of employment cost forecasting monthly
• Responsibility for bank reconciliations ensuring all postings are accurately made to the nominal.
• Oversee expenses process, including posting the monthly credit card transactions
• Processing weekly and monthly payment runs on Bankline provided by purchase ledger
• Assisting in month-end processes, preparing payroll-related accruals, and producing payroll reports.
• Undertake ad-hoc work as required and respond effectively to any queries arising.
The role does have some Adhoc finance admin tasks listed as our client is keen to recruit a Payroll experienced candidate but someone who is keen to develop their finance skills they would also offer study support for professional exams if this is something the individual wanted to pursue.
