We’re partnering with a fantastic client in Glasgow who is seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to support their small but dynamic finance team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and wants to make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative environment.
As an Accounts Assistant you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations and preparing payment runs
- Reconciling company credit card transactions
- Supporting fund reporting and compliance
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- Coordinating property contractor activities in the Glasgow office
- Handling general finance admin and ad hoc tasks
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Familiarity with invoice processing, payment runs, and Xero
- Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
