Lusona financial services are recruiting for an experienced paraplanner to join the paraplanning team of a leading investment bank in their Edinburgh office.  They have gone through a re-structure and in turn, they are looking for an additional paraplanner to help with the increased workload.

As a paraplanner, you will work as part of a close-knit team of financial advisers, paraplanners and client support administrators. Your role will involve performing research and analysis of financial products, producing suitability reports, and performing complex tax calculations.

The company has a strong track record of retaining, training, and developing staff. The training and development allow people to either grow within their existing roles or to train into new positions within the organisation. A paraplanner will be rewarded financially as they become more technically proficient and the more highly qualified they become. If the paraplanners’ preferred career path is financial advice then they will be given the opportunity to train as a financial adviser.

It is essential that you have experience working as a paraplanner within a financial advice, wealth management or financial planning business. You must also be working through your professional exams, ideally having achieved your level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning or equivalent qualification via the CII, CISI or LIBF.

A salary of up to £42K has been budgeted for this role however this could potentially increase for the right candidate.  Our client has one of the best benefits packages in the industry which includes 40 days holiday, with the option to buy additional days, private health, and dental care to name a few.
