Lusona Financial Services are recruiting for a mortgage administrator to join an IFA practice in Aberdeen. This is an established firm with a very low staff turnover.
You will support the mortgage and protection adviser to ensure that clients are provided with a seamless service whilst being responsible for submitting and managing mortgage applications, protection business from submission to completion through effective communication with clients, lenders, and insurers.
As a mortgage administrator, you will manage the adviser's diary, prepare applications for mortgages and protection products, file client correspondence and documentation. You will liaise with both in-house and external solicitors to ensure a successful business conclusion and also be responsible for updating the back office system, ensuring client business records are accurate and updated throughout each part of the mortgage process.
Key Skills - Essential
- Mortgage administration experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software
- Excellent communication skills, in person, by telephone, and in written form
- Highly efficient with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service
- Ability to work independently, develop solutions and solve problems
