Our client is a leading local employer, who as a result of significant trading and forthcoming investment program, needs to appoint at least 2 Mechanical Fitters to their engineering team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you shall be part of a team performing both reactive maintenance and the ongoing PPM program. The roles operate on a 4 on 4 off pattern (across days and nights) though for the right person it might be possible to work a standard dayshift.

It is expected that you shall be time served, have a background within a processing business, and be well versed in mechanical engineering (bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, gearboxes). Ideally, you shall be able to read technical drawings, and some experience of welding or fabrication would be advantageous. You will be used to working in a team, and possess first-class communication skills.
