We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitter with experience of Hydraulics & Pneumatics to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the role, as well as strong technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems.
• Fabricate and modify mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain and operate workshop equipment.
• Work to health and safety standards.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical fitting role.
• Experience of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work to health and safety standards.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
