Our client is a leading industrial manufacturer, who as a result of internal promotion need to appoint an ambitious design professional.

Reporting to the Design Manager you will be part of a team who are responsible for the design of all existing products, new products, and of their R&D operations. Specifically, you shall work closely with the client to create a product that is fit for purpose and is designed for manufacture. You will act as the technical liaison for the client and shall interact with all parts of the business to ensure the successful install and commission of all equipment. Your role may involve an element of component sourcing, depending on the design requirements, and of site visits to the client's premises. 

You will be degree qualified, ideally in either Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering, and have first-class communication skills. It is expected that you will have at least 4 years experience in mechanical design, ideally pressure calculations, volume flow rates and have been involved in creating BOM’s.
