Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join a growing and ambitious business in Renfrewshire. This role offers excellent exposure across the finance function and would suit an individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting reporting processes, and providing valuable insight to aid business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
- Financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
- Variance analysis and performance reporting
- Supporting statutory audit requirements
- Monitoring and improving financial controls and processes
- Business partnering with operational teams across the organisation
- Ad hoc project work as required
Candidate Profile
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) or recently qualified accountant
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with a desire to learn and develop
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
