Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with our client in the manufacturing sector as they recruit suitable applicants for the position of Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, playing a key role within the finance function and supporting the wider operations team. The role is fully office-based in Glasgow and ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team. This role would suit a Part/Newly qualified or QBE Accountant looking for their next move in a varied commercial environment. This role offers a competitive salary of £43,000 - £47,000 per annum plus 34 days annual leave, free parking and early finish every friday. 
 

Key duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Supporting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
• Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
• Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.

About You:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
• Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Hands-on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
• A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced setting.
