Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team as a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for financial accounting across assigned entities and delivering accurate, timely monthly reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to provide clear, actionable analysis to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial results, including variance analysis
- Maintaining accurate accounting records in line with relevant policies
- Conducting accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and short/long-term planning
- Delivering cash flow forecasting and fund tracking
- Handling billing processes and reporting
- Assisting in audit preparation (internal and external)
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting system updates/development
Ideally applicants will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent), however, suitably qualified by experience or exam finalist may also be considered. Likewise, applicants will have strong technical knowledge of management accounting and be a confident user of Excel and familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems. It is important for applicants to be comfortable presenting and explaining financial data to non-finance stakeholders, hence excelling communication skills and collaboration across departments is key.
