Join Lusona Consultancy’s service sector client within a well-established business for the post of Management Accountant. Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, this is a well-rounded role offering opportunities for month end reporting and business partnering with various stakeholders.
Reporting to the financial controller your main responsibilities will include:
- Business partnering with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Supporting junior members of the finance team
- Ensuring the delivery of the month end processes.
- Providing support for costing and bids.
- Carrying out analysis of the management accounts.
- Explaining any variances to the budgets and forecasts
- Highlighting any risks and suggesting improvements to drive profits.
- Supporting the full budgeting and processing processes.
- Reviewing financial records to identify any errors to be rectified.
Applicants will ideally be qualified Accountants (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or suitably qualified by experience within a similar management accounting or finance business partnering focused role. You will have advanced excel skills and have the ability to work with large volumes of data. It is desirable to have PowerBI and SAP experience, but no essential. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, to collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders alike.
