Management Accountant

Salary up to £45K (DOE) + Benefits + Hybrid Working
Lusona are working with our client in the service sector who are looking for a qualified accountant (up to 3yrs post qualified) to join their close-knit finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an all encompassing industry finance role offering a variety of work.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the quarterly management accounts
- Preparing profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements
- Supporting with full month end activities
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Reconciling the balance sheet and intercompany accounts
- Carrying out corresponding variance analysis
- Producing and reviewing audit schedules and statutory accounts
- Preparing monthly VAT returns
- Liaising with commercial managers to offer wider business support and partnering
- Driving continuous improvement of management reporting by working closely with the Financial Controller
Applicants must be fully qualified accountants (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA). Particularly suitable for those who have trained in Accountancy Practice (Accounts/Business Advisory) and would like to take their first step into industry. Or someone who has experience of financial/management accounts working in industry. You will have strong excel skills and be confident communicator to collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business. Sage 200 experience is useful but not an essential requirement.
