Management Accountant

Lusona are working with their global client in the service sector, to join their team as a 'Management Accountant', based in Glasgow. This an exciting time for a qualified accountant from an accountancy practice or industry background to join a very successful business, as they go through a further period of international expansion. Working alongside the wider team, reporting to senior management you will contribute to the monthly management accounts and corresponding reporting on a global basis.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the production of management accounts and corresponding analysis
• Carrying out variance analysis from a monthly to yearly basis
• Ensuring accuracy of monthly reporting
• Completing any ad-hoc reporting requirements
• Contributing to the budgeting process
• Assisting with more challenging balance sheet reconciliations as completed by the processing team
• Collaborating with various stakeholders across the business globally, answering any queries

Applicants should be qualified Accountants (ICAS/ACCA) with experience working in Accountancy Practice or Wider Industry & Commerce. Ideal for an ambitious newly qualified who has the desire to move in-house. It is essential that you have strong excel skills and communication skills in order to work well independently and part of a wider close-knit team.
