Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer, needs to appoint an additional maintenance engineer to support the business after a sustained period of growth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you shall have a wide and varied role. Working across the plant, You shall;

- Carry out preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment inc CNCs , Electrical Furnaces etc.

- Complete emergency maintenance when electrical or mechanical equipment breaks down.

- Keep a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out.

- Schedule planned and preventive maintenance work.

- Ensure that machinery and equipment meets safety regulations.

- Repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components.

- Check and verify repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored, minimising down time.

Ideally, you will have had previous experience  within a manufacturing company, holding a qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering. You will have at least 3 years industrial experience, possessing a strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (Some knowledge of 3 axis CNC work centres would be an advantage).
