Job title: Legal Cashier - Cashroom

Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their highly reputable and expanding client on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Glasgow, and will report in to the Cashroom Manager.
The Role
- Process daily financial transactions across client and office accounts
- Allocate incoming funds and reconcile balances
- Manage payments, including bank transfers and cheques
- Support deposit account activity (openings, closures, and transactions)
- Allocate payments to fees and produce balance reports
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and residual balances
- Use online banking systems and internal finance platforms
- Provide ad hoc support across the team as required
Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced cashiering or finance environment
- Experience within the Legal sector is a must
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and VAT
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- Well-organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
