IT EUC Support Manager required to join our global corporate client to manage a small team who ensure the desktop build meets the users’ needs across the business. This role will focus on people management, however, there will be an element on hands on capability as you will be acting as the main point of escalation, therefore a strong technical ability is also required.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  •  Managing and developing the team in conjunction with senior management
  • The main point of contact/escalation for technical issues regarding SCCM, application packaging, desktop delivery methodology etc.
  • Managing resources and multiple workstreams to deliver necessary technology
  • Overseeing the deployment of new processes and systems
  • Collaborating with other team leaders and managers to drive strategy and delivery
  • Ensuring the team meet the requirements of set performance measurement metrics

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a 3rd line team and 2 years’ experience as a team lead within a 3rd line team
  • Experience of managing and developing a team (e.g. defining KPIs, goal setting, managing workloads, appraisals).
  • Solid understanding of SCCM Infrastructure, Application packaging (via Citrix Xenapp, Microsoft App-V), deploying applications on App-V infrastructure, desktop delivery methodologies and customising the user experience via tools such as group policy & Ivanti
  • Be a SME in at least 2 or more of the aforementioned areas
  • Have project management experience
  • Be experienced in acting as the point of contact for escalations and delivering system upgrades
