Internal Audit Senior opportunity with a dynamic and award-winning mid-tier CA firm that has enjoyed impressive growth and client wins in recent years.

With the option to be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow their Internal Audit team works with a varied portfolio of successful clients from both commercial and public sectors across Scotland. As such, there will be some travel required to client sites with the rest of the week working from the office or from home.

As Internal Audit Senior, key responsibilities include:

• Planning and leading audits, acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Completing audit assignments to agreed timescales
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team, both on site and in their day-to-day work
• Identifying areas for improvement, answering client queries and escalating issues to management as required
• Working closely with managers to ensure timescales, budgets and deadlines are met
• Maintaining relevant, up to date knowledge and building your professional profile

You will be:

• Professionally qualified (CA, CIA, or equivalent), or an ambitious part qualified auditor with experience of leading audit assignments
• Experienced working in internal audit within accountancy practice
• Technically minded with strong communication skills
• An excellent team player
