An excellent opportunity to join the expanding Business Recovery team of our respected mid-tier CA firm client as Assistant Manager or Manager.
You will support the Directors and senior management team in progressing corporate insolvency cases from initial pre-appointment advice to appointment including initial post-appointment reporting to creditors, directors conduct reports and first phase enquiries. You will support junior team members and play an integral role in identifying and coordinating true solutions for distressed businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of a portfolio of up to 80 cases, these could include MVLs, CVLs, Court liquidations, Administrations and complex Sequestrations
- Preparation and implementation of case strategy;
- Liaising with key stakeholders to agree case strategy (including secured creditors and directors);
- Supervising, delegating to, mentoring and training junior members of the team with management support;
- Planning and monitoring cases to ensure that work is completed effectively;
- Monitoring WIP and costs to budget;
- Liaising with third party advisors including solicitors, agents and stakeholders;
- Identifying potential risks and issues, escalating to Directors;
- Assisting senior management with business development activities
You will be a CPI, JIEB, or CA/ACCA/ACA qualified insolvency professional with 3-4 years of relevant corporate insolvency experience gained as Manager or Assistant Manager/Senior Administrator within a CA or Insolvency practice. Those experienced in both corporate and personal insolvency are also encouraged to apply. You will be able to demonstrate competence in managing a a portfolio of cases from inception to completion. You will be a highly organised and proactive individual who can work using your initiative.
