An excellent opportunity to join the expanding Business Recovery team of our independent mid-tier CA firm client as Assistant Manager / Manager

You will support the Directors and senior management team in progressing corporate insolvency cases from initial pre-appointment advice to appointment including initial post-appointment reporting to creditors, directors conduct reports and first phase enquiries. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Management of a portfolio of cases including MVLs, CVLs, Court liquidations, Administrations and complex Sequestrations
  • Preparation and implementation of case strategy;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to agree case strategy (including secured creditors and directors);
  • Supervising, mentoring and training junior members of the team with management support;
  • Planning and monitoring cases to ensure that work is completed effectively;
  • Reviewing statutory reports, case planning, preparing and monitoring estimated outcome statements and cash flow preparation and analysis;
  • Monitoring WIP and costs to budget;
  • Investigation work and identifying potential areas of review for maximising asset realisations;
  • Liaising with solicitors, agents and stakeholders;
  • Identifying risk issues and drawing them to the attention of the Directors.
  • Assisting senior management with business development activities

You will be CPI or CA/ACCA/ACA qualified insolvency professional with relevant corporate insolvency experience gained as Manager or Assistant Manager/Senior Administrator within a CA or IP practice. You will be able to demonstrate competence in managing a a portfolio of corporate cases from inception to completion. You will be a highly organised and proactive individual who can work using your initiative.   In return, you will receive first class training, study support for JIEB (if desired) and genuine prospects for career development.
