Rare opportunity for a specialist Tax Adviser to join the in-house Partnership tax team of this global professional services firm in Glasgow. This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (min 4 days per week)

This is a career-enhancing opportunity for an ambitious individual with experience in personal tax, partnership tax, or mixed tax remit to broaden their technical and professional exposure within a dynamic business.

This is a specialist tax team providing UK and International tax compliance, reporting, risk management and advisory services to the LLP and Partners.

Reporting to Senior Management, and with the support and assistance of tax colleagues, key responsibilities include:

• Preparing UK Partners' personal tax returns and assisting with arranging tax payments
• Supporting with preparation of non-resident Partner UK tax compliance
• Assisting with preparation of the Partnership tax computation for the LLP, as reviewed by Senior Management
• Support with tax compliance for UK subsidiaries and subsequent partners, as well as some global mobility tax compliance
• Liaising with external tax advisors
• Providing ad hoc support to senior management and partnership

Ideally you will be a qualified Tax professional (ATT/CTA/CA) with a minimum of 5 years' UK personal tax compliance experience. Global tax knowledge/experience advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to connect with Partners and respond to any queries/issues in a highly professional and efficient manner. Strong Excel skills are essential, as well as excellent technical tax knowledge and familiarity with relevant tax compliance software. Overall, you must be self-motivated and eager to develop new skills in a fast-paced and exciting new role, and this team are well equipped to support with this.
